Aliens Will Not Visit Earth Because They Are Scared

If [alien life] exists it may have found us by now and discovered that humans are dangerous, violent and ceaselessly engage in endless bloody conflicts and war...
— Dr. Gordon Gallup

Aliens may be avoiding Earth due to current human hostility.

Dr. Gordon Gallup. University of Albany

University of Albany professor of Biopsychology, Dr. Gordon Gallup has claimed aliens are purposefully avoiding Earth because of a fear of humanity and the destructive powers we possess.

“If [alien life] exists it may have found us by now and discovered that humans are dangerous, violent and ceaselessly engage in endless bloody conflicts and war, and continually develop even more powerful weapons of mass destruction,” Dr. Gallup wrote in an open-access paper for the Journal of Astrobiology.

His opinion is opposite to many in the world of science. Many cosmologists believe that any alien civilization with the capability of interstellar travel would be able to attack and enslave humanity with ease.

"It would also be obvious, that as a byproduct of increasing pollution, habitat destruction, coupled with endless wars, pillage, death, destruction and the desire for conquest, that humans pose an unparalleled and unprecedented risk not only to other life forms on Earth but to life on other planets."

A Brief History of UFOs

The term “Flying Saucer” originated from countless newspapers’ misquotes of pilot Kenneth Arnold.

Kenneth Arnold showing the “Flying Saucers”

In 1950, Arnold had a conversation with new commentator Edward R. Murrow and discussed the misquote.

Arnold said this about how the phrase “Flying Saucers” came to be:

“These objects more or less fluttered like they were, oh, I'd say, boats on very rough water or very rough air of some type, and when I described how they flew, I said that they flew like they take a saucer and throw it across the water. Most of the newspapers misunderstood and misquoted that too. They said that I said that they were saucer-like; I said that they flew in a saucer-like fashion.”

Six weeks after the Arnold sighting, the press reported on a crashed non-terrestrial air-craft crash in Roswell, New Mexico.

Ten years later, the Soviet Union launched the first man-made satellite, Sputnik, into earth orbit.

According to Carl Sagan, in his book Demon Haunted World, after Sputnik was launched, there were 701 UFO sightings over the immediate 4 months. In the book Sagan asks, “were Americans finally noticing the extra-terrestrial space show overhead or was the cultural consciousness so zeroed in on one concept that people saw what they wanted to see?”

The most compelling footage came from fighter jet sensors.

In 1990, a study of abductee claimants found that 3.7 mil Americans believe they have been abducted by aliens. The first claim was reported to happen in 1961 meaning that around 340 Americans had been abducted every day.

Recently the Pentagon has opened up an office to study UFO/UAP reports after a number of UFO videos that were confirmed to be Navy footage of UFOs. While the American government is open to studying the phenomenon, the Australian government said they will not be taking part in any UFO research.
