Livestream Proves Chinese Apartment Not Haunted

A man was hired to Livestream his 24-hour stay in an apartment where a recent suicide had happened to quiet potential buyers fears of a haunting.

The Beijing Youth Daily reported, Nov. 10, the Wuzhong People’s Court of the Jiangsu Province thought up a unique strategy to convince would-be apartment buyers the property was not haunted by its recently deceased owner.

The apartment’s owner took their life by burning coal without ventilation because of large amounts of gambling debt. The creditors sued the wife of the victim to gain control of the property. The court ruled to auction off the apartment to repay the debts…but no one is buying.

Due to the publicized events, many buyers think that apartment is being haunted by the unfortunate man. Belief is so strong the court hired a streamer to Livestream his occupancy over 24-hours; hoping to prove the location ghostless.

The Livestream started at 10 am Nov 9, with a court judge and a man introducing the apartment. More than 40,000 people watched the stream as the streamer worked out, ate, and slept.

Although nothing paranormal was captured on stream [or maybe because nothing paranormal occurred] none of the participants placed a bid. It will be auctioned again at a later date.
