Monolith Found in Romania; Similar to Utah Monolith

Piatra Neamt, Romania —

A monolith, similar to appearance to the one found and then vanished in Utah recently, was found in Romania on November 26, 2020.

Romanian officials have no leads has to who placed the monolith but they have launched an investigation.

The monolith has similar features as the one in Utah: approximately 12-feet in height; aluminum-like metal construction; signs of metal working.

The monolith was found near Petrodava Dacian Fotress. The fortress is the oldest monument the town of Piatra Neamt. The monolith appeared just a few feet away from the walls of the ruins; which face the Holy Mountain, Mount Ceahlau.

“We have started looking into the strange appearance of the monolith,” Neamt Culture and Heritage official Rocsana Josanu told press.

"It is on private property, but we still don't know who the monolith's owner is yet. It is in a protected area on an archaeological site."
