Mysterious Cattle Mutilation Case Baffles Madison County Ranchers

The Madison County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating a disturbing series of cattle mutilations that have left ranchers in the area on edge.

The Madison County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating a disturbing series of cattle mutilations that have left ranchers in the area on edge. It all began when a longhorn-cross cow was found deceased on a ranch along TX-OSR, with its hide removed around the mouth and tongue cleanly cut out with apparent precision. There were no signs of struggle, and the grass around the cow was undisturbed.

The oddity of the situation only increased when five more similar cases were reported in the area, with four adult cows and one yearling found in the same condition. Each animal was discovered in a different location, pasture, and herd, and all had their tongues removed with surgical precision. Two of the cows had circular cuts around their anuses and external genitalia, with the same precision as the cuts around the jawlines of each cow.

The incidents are reminiscent of a classic cattle mutilation case and have left investigators baffled. No blood spill or noticeable tracks were found at any of the crime scenes, and no predators or birds scavenged the remains, which were left untouched for several weeks.

The cause of death for all six cows remains unknown, and authorities are asking anyone with information on the cases to contact Investigator Foster at 936-348-2755 during business hours. Meanwhile, the Madison County Sheriff's Office is actively coordinating with other agencies across the United States to find answers to this disturbing phenomenon.
